David Spivey

Executive Pastor

Pastor David Spivey and his wife, Jamie, are blessed with 5 children.  Through the Lord’s leadership, they moved to beautiful Galax, Virginia in 2016 to serve Haven of Rest Bible Church and the surrounding community.  They love being a part of God’s work in rescuing, redeeming, and restoring sinful, broken lives.

Pastor Spivey came to the Lord as a teenager, was called to the ministry in his twenties and since then has been involved in kingdom building as an educator, pastor and evangelist.  His heart burns for God to be glorified through the salvation of souls, infilling of the Holy Spirit in believers and the growth of these believers into Christian maturity within the context of a local congregation.  He loves God and people and desires to make a difference in lives for eternity!
